Freeze drying is a natural treatment to store fresh herbs longer without loss of taste. Through the use of very low temperatures the moisture is removed from the herbs. The essential oils, colour, structure and taste remain intact. What if freeze dried herbs come into contact with liquid like in soups, sauces or dressings?
