Basil whole (Organic)
Basil has a slightly acid bay leaf /peppery taste and smells a little bit like cloves. Basil is established firmly as an important ingredient in various Italian dishes like pizza and pasta sauces (pesto). It can also be used on salads and sliced tomatoes. Basil keeps its taste and flavour longer in whole than in ground form.
Organic?
European law determines that a plant, animal or product can only be sold as organic when it originates from certified organic production. By excluding the use of fertiliser, chemical or synthetic herbicides, pesticides and genetically modified organisms.
