Saffron whole
Saffron is the whole orange / brown stigmas of the saffron crocus. These aromatic and slightly bitter stigmas contain a brightly coloured natural dye and give various dishes like rice a bright yellow colour. Saffron has a strong fragrance. Taste and flavour are kept longer in whole form than in ground.
